Hello There.

Hello long lost blog friends!

I am alive, just over on Little Fockels a bit more regularly these days. I love sharing what’s going on in my life and it seems like you are all enjoying the new blog (because I can stalk you and know what you are reading).

This is just a reminder to visit my other blog to get regular updates on how the pregnancy is going and how our little bean is doing.

Over here we’ve got more of the same randomness I brought to you before my life became crazy.

I may eventually just switch it all over to the new blog because I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to manage two separate blogs, but that might not happen for some time. Time will tell.

For now, keep checking back here periodically for random stuff, but check the other blog for the more daily, personal updates.

Meanwhile we had some black rice the other night for the second time. We made it about a year ago for the first time. I forgot how great it is.

We picked ours up at a specialty spice store, but I am sure you can find it in the grocery store or at the very least a specialty grocery store. Don’t quote me on that, but it has to be pretty accessible.

We made ours with chicken broth and cooked it like you would regular rice and then paired it with some chicken. It was light and tasted flavorful and well seasoned. I highly recommend it!
